ELSO’s COMMITMENT TO TEXAS

At ELSO, we center and elevate the stories and experiences of local communities through innovative STEAMED and nature-based education. 

This exciting new chapter is made possible by generous support from REI’s Cooperative Action Fund and the National Basketball Association.

Since 2021, we’ve been laying the groundwork to bring ELSO’s mission beyond Oregon—connecting with new communities, building strong local partnerships, and creating more opportunities for Black and Brown youth to explore environmental justice and STEAMED (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) education.

We are proud to serve Fort Bend, Jefferson, and Harris Counties — and we’re actively building new partnerships to grow our reach throughout Texas.
